Shes had loads of plastic surgery... probably in an attempt to give her a more western look.
As for her music, it sucks if not remixed. If you listen to the originals and the remixes, they hardly sound anything alike. The only reason why the songs everyone has mentioned are decent is because famous trance producers were paid by avex to remix the shit out of her songs so that they could use them in their cyber trance events/compiltaions... no credit should be given to her.

i meantioned naturally, which is know is mainly CMJK's work but the fact is that i can list my fav ayumi originals but since this is a trance forum, i listed my fav remixes only, and yes, the plastic surgery, i think it's pretty obvious, i mean look at the face in early pv's like "you" & "poker face" and compare them to the "m" pv or any pv after duty album.
