IMO it's nice and banging. i think most people dislike it because ferry did it first and this is pretty different to ferry's mix all in all. maybe people were expecting something different and maybe some feel that tiësto's version was unnecessary, but still i like it.

I don't like it because i think it's crap, i even think it's a big piece of cheese, IMO the synthesizers just sound awful.
That has nothing to do with Ferry's mix. I do have a "Adagio for Strings 'Remix'" Whitelabel here (according to discogs, this is a mat silver vs. tony burt remix), which i like very much.

IMO Tiesto's stuff since Traffic is througout cheese, apart from tracks like "Walking on Clouds", but those are collaborations.

well that's nice then. i must say that your definition of cheese is a bit different than mine. i'd classify dj sammy and lasgo and such as cheese, maybe some of todays euphoric trance too, like above & beyond, armin and all that crap asot fluff.
i dunno how this is cheesy or traffic either. i just can't really find anything cheesy in them. i can understand that you don't like them though, but i'd say that most of today's trance is much cheesier than the stuff tiësto puts out.

scanned this in

going to review it on monday, but right now the Danjo & Styles rmx is my favourite, prob 8-9 ish, fred's sounds unusually tacky and would be about 6/10 and phynns is ok but nothing amazing, also 6/10

btw cd single is on Nebula in the uk

I like the Danjo & Styles remix the most by far... can't say I enjoyed what I've heard of any other of the other mixes released under the Tiësto artist name so far

The original Tiesto Mix surprised me when i first heard it, as obviously people wait with bated breath when a classic is reworked. But i just find it incredibly cheeky that Tiesto has seemingly taken the credit for the original melody and commissioned remixes by Fred Baker/Phynn/Danjo&Styles, to anyone unfamiliar with the original William Orbit mix, they would think Tiesto made it himself.

Is it me or does it seem ludacris to remix a remix? 3 times?

I wish they'd leave this alone.

The Ferry Corsten remix was about the only one that could just about justify a trance remix!

The classical 'remix' (words to the Agnus Dei)was nice though!
