Most people in Toronto feel intimidated for some odd reasons when a stranger says, "Hi there, how are you doing?" to them. That's called being friendly and try to make friends. And I have to agree with what Jayx1 said about people in Europe, they generally are more friendly and easy going when comparing to Toronto. But not just in Europe either, many other countries in Asian also.
Myself is traveling alone to Thailand in a week time, even though I've never been to the country but there won't be anything to worry about in terms of meeting people or such. I've noticed people that are pround of what their country has to offer in like arts, history, culture & etc. are a lot more friendly and give the outsiders a welcome feeling |
The best thing ive ever heard an outsider say about Toronto is "people here seem to be socially retarded"
ahahahahahahha
