My older bro lives in Austin. He used to work for RJ Reynolds and trade people 3 packs of Camels for their Marlboros and got paid $10/hr I think, maybe more. Not sure if people are still doin that but ask around.
Also(for fast cash) you might want to try some of the Market Studies they have in Austin. My brother also does those every once and a while for some extra cash. One of them even tricked him into getting on a show on vh1.
