regardless of what the age restrictions are, there will always be people under that age limit pissed that they are left out. They have to draw the line somewhere. An afterhours club, just isn't the best place for younger people IMO, there's definitely a seedy element at some of these places. The 'holy fuck' moments I've had at parties when I was 21 or 22 (just seeing some seriously fucked up shit)would have been more difficult for me to handle at 17 or 18.

i second that...everyone (well over 95% of the population) waits till legal age to club and go to mature places.

its only fair that everyone goes through 19 years of their life until getting access to everything.

i only used a fake id 2 months before i turned legal. do i regret not going to many parties before that? yea i do. But age determine's maturity and as much as i dont suport age limits, theres a point to it.

Imagine a 13y/o goin to a bar and getting wasted...that wouldnt be a good sight

yes i perfectly know what you mean, in sweden legal drinking age is 18, and it is enforced pretty stric. So i have turned legal drinking age before, so i know the difference between all ages and not all ages... but i have also been in countries where the age limits are not enforced, and i must say that those parties have all been soooooo great. I guess its kinda like in qubeck (have never been partying there so i can only speak of what i have heard), the age limits there arent that much enforced, but still their party life is awesome... and saying that we raise our children wrong hence we must have all these age limits is wrong, i think that age limits create this kind of things, a 17 year old can never drink or party at a club legally till he is 19, hence he will be less mature than someone in a country where he actually can do that legally etc...

I agree when you are older you are see things better, in a sense, teenagers dont realzie, sometimes that those age limits are there for a reason, it was frustrating before I turned "legal", but on the other hand as well, I'm glad I waited cause well its not fun with the teenagers there, sorry guys just have to wait

I actually think 19+ is fair. That way, it insures that alcohol stays out of our highschools.

Mind you, I was 19 for a semester of highschool, but I was in OAC. Now with grade 12, you won't find too many legal aged people in HS.

Like I know too many kids from highschool that had no direction in their lives whatsoever. Making booze far more readily available to them wouldn't help.

I think legal age should be changed to 18. If a person is treated as an adult by the law, the I think they should be alloud to do whatever they want.
In Russia anyone can do whatever since the age of 13.

yeah, cause the 19+ limit now certainly makes the highschools alcohol free! Never seen a high school student drink!
