HAHAHAHAA!
That's some funny shit... and true too!

Anyway, if you're gonna compare Nick Warren or any of those other "underground progressive" DJs with Judge Jules, well technically speaking, they might be a lot better than him... but some of us just don't wanna hear the underground stuff anymore and are looking for some good old TRANCE (proper trance as someone put it earlier in one of these threads)... now we can't possibly know what Judge is gonna spin on Wednesday (yeah, we can guess maybe 30-40% of that set) since there is shitload of tunes he can choose from, and I'd rather pay $20 to hear something that will keep me dancing all night long and something that will satisfy my senses, than paying to hear some underground DJ spin some new underground tunes and admire his mixing skills... bah, that just doesn't do it for me. Some of us just wanna PARTEY!

Shit, I'm stoned... I'm gonna go lie down for a while and listen to Greece 2000 remixes

Jugde - Commercial? No way !

OK guys.. I don't know what you mean by Judge being too commercial.
Here are two tracklistsing of his more or less recent sets:
================================================

Gatecrasher - June 2001

Tall Paul - Precious Heart (Riva Mix)
Jakatta - American Dream (Commie Mix)
Yomanda - Unknown
Goodfellas - Soul Heaven (Dave Clark Mix)
Chemical Brothers - Africa (Electronic Battle Weapon 5)
Kosheen - Hide U (J Creamer & Stephane K Mix)
Cosmic Gate - Firewaire (LCF Mix)
Riva - Stringer (Tall Paul Mix)
Angelic - Stay With Me
Motivation - Para Mi (Intrique Deep Bass Attack)
Superfast OZ - Para Ass Ghetto Pimpin
Members of Mayday - 10 In 01
Push - The Legacy
Sharp Tools Vol 5 - G-Force
Green Martian - Industry
Terry Bones - Gettaway
Hi Gate - You & Me
DJ Scott Project - U (I Got A Feeling) (DJ Elite Mix)
No One Driving - Playa Sol
Mauro Picotto - Verdi
Hi Bopper - Journey to the Moon
DJ Elite - That Camera Track

================================================

Trance Energy October 2001
1. Mauro Picotto - Verdi (Megavoices Claxxis Mix)
2. PPK - Ressurection (Space Club Mix)
3. Minimalistix - Close Cover
4. Legend B - Voyage
5. Yves Deruyter - Back to Earth (Rave Mix)
6. Work in Progress - I Won't Let you Down (Darren Tate mix)
7. DJ Tiesto - Urban Train
8. Tillman Uhrmacher - On The Run (Ocean to the Shore Club Version)
9. Brainbug - Nightmare
10. Martin Eyerer - Heaven (Stoker's 2001 Remix)
11. Push - The Legacy (Club Mix)
12. Dave The Drummer - The One, Last One
13. Three Drives - Sunset on Ibiza
14. Green Martian - Industry (Durango 95 Remix)/Martin Luther King - Let Freedom Reign

I don't really see any commercial tracks here. PPK - Resurrection? Well, it may be commercial but everybody plays it from Oakenfold to Armin and nobody complains.

I think Judge Jules will rock Guvernment just the way Ferry Corsten did. It's a pity I won't be able to go.

I like progressive, its the spark that i get now, nothing else makes me wanna dance...in any case you haven't been reading, Paul Van Dyk which is considered to be "The God of Trance", he himself said that Nick Warren or Dave Seaman should be the #1 dj's...and as of Nick Warren being #28, show's that he's not that popular, and who are you going 2 argue here man? Nick Warren is underground, coz of da way he spins, his track selections and so on, he's a master of his own, he's pretty much invincible in the club scene, neither less he spins proggie trance&house...so wat if JJ puts on some cheesy house tunes, tunes dat u will know? wats da fucn of dat going 2 a club and knowing wat tunes are gonna be spun? i dont see much fun in it, just like YA, I KNOW DIS TUNE, and there dats it, u know the whole song .Obviously most of the people know Judge Jules! its 4 da name that its stands! and i bet you any day dat once you go on wednesday 2 see JJ, there's gonna me loads of people, instead of like Nick Warren people are talking about his productions? ya right is that a joke? i never heard a tune from JJ that he has produced if u know 1, den tell me 1 or even Armin Van Buuren #27? right? we all know that AVB is a lot better in very category then JJ this is wat i think, so ppl dont take any offence
peace

Blue neon u posting the same thing twice!!!
I've figured out your ehyptian writing, its kool... After all these posts aren't going to be marked by a humanities teacher or somethin...

I can honestly say that i've slowly but steadily grown out of trance, and i have slowly progressed to progressive and progressive house... I don't like going to a club and hearing songs that i know, it just gets boring (this is one of the main reasons i don't do spin sat's at guv anymore)... What i love is getting hit with shit that i've never heard before and what i love is being taken for a ride; and this all depends on the music and how its presented...

JJ does play a lot of well known tunes but i don't know what it is about his mixing that justs makes me want to party!!! I think it has to do a lot with the fact that his live sets were the first sets i heard and dled when i first got into the the scene (about 1.3 years now)....

I just found out today that i have 2 huge exams on the friday of that week which means i probably won't be able to go see JJ cause i going to be neck deep in studying..... anyway, time to go to sleep....
