almost all gabriel & dresden mixes ever

how about none of the G&D mixes ever.......

ya once someone lays down the groudwork for a track, usually remixers can build on it and make it better... in most cases anyways

Agreed..

I'm usually in favor of Original Productions..

Pretty much about 80% of my active library are Original Mixes.

It was a huge underground stomper back in the early 90's when trash can raves were just moving outside of cylinders and into dumpsters. But the days weren't all so sunny for Oscar. In fact, he took so much E, his hair turned green and he grew a unibrow. He used to be as handsome as Alf before he hit rock bottom. Oh well.

Not to mention the fact that fellow producer and long-time friend Cookie Monster's heroin addiction only made things worse for poor Oscar in the end.

GOD! This is like the vinyl vs cd debate! Endless!

But like most have said, it depends on each and every track you come accross. There is, however, a list of producers who can almost always make the remix better than the original, but that's only a limited amount of them. Most don't make a song go anywhere or make it worse.

Heheh, it was 9th March 2003 (03/09 vs. 09/03, gets confusing I know!)

But the only answer to the question is that it depends on how good the original was and how good the remix is!! Generally though, people like Sasha, Gabriel & Dresden, Sander Kleinenberg, Zabs and Andy Moor do improve tracks by remixing them.

depends on the remixers. for example almost anything Ewan Pearson touches I tend to like alot more than the originals. he just adds a sorta edge to it with a good melody to back it up
