you should see me in my bedroom

but i didnt have so much experience before to 'let go' on event. i have gone nuts once and it was my best set up to date - hands down. now having some more gigs lined up and having some experience i really can say that i enjoy it more when 'going with the vibe' - but this also requires that people are going nuts also

100% agree with that, the odd trainwreak is just an opertunity to go "Whaaaaayyyy" (acknowledge it) and get a smile from the DJ not a death sentence.

Fair enough alot of them and ou just think hmmmm this guy is shit.

Some people forget that DJing is not all about mixing, and mixing is not all about beatmatching (though in our genres obviously both are very important, it is still true).

i think its kinda cool sometimes when certain types of djs dont respond much to the crowd. its like they just know their nailing it and they just smile a lil bit and give the crowd a few glances, seems a little more mature. But nothing wrong with a dj that jumps around when things heat up thats cool too

True. Paul van Dyk knows exactly when to play a certain record to make the crowd go nuts. And he definately enjoys watching people go crazy, because if he didn't he would probably stop dj-ing and be a fulltime producer...

People respond to different situations in different ways. I am a very relaxed and calm person, and i don't jump around a lot. But when i get a crowd going, i have a smile from ear to ear on my face, and i'm just shining with energy. I think little signs (like a smile, a wave with your hand, or just pointing at someone) can do just as much or even more to an entire crowd than jumping around and dancing your ass off.
