80's rock / synthpop (duran duran, twisted sister, devo, men without hats, the scorpions, etc)
70's french canadian folkrock (harmonium)
classical
everything but rap and modern crap music (every fuckin band that thinks they are punk rock..... but they are actually shit)

i dont mind emo either

No I never said all EDM counts as trance, nor do I think that. I wanted to say non EDM genres, but some people have a dispute of whether rap is EDM or not. Therefore I tried to cover all bases by saying trance or techno.

I'd say they're def. Trip-hop. Which, coincidentally, is the genre I pick as my second fave. Hooverphonic is fantastic.
