I like both DJs/Producers. I went through a "i hate Tiesto" phase a while back, but now that I've been listening to his old stuff and his ISOS 4 CD, I've got to say that he is just as good as he's always been. What I like about Tiesto is that he's not super-technical or a huge perfectionist with everything, but he still can put together a nice set and plays good music. Sure the guy has a pretty big ego, but I still think Tiesto has a really great ability to connect with people and he really seems to love what he does. He has progressed just as other DJs have, and his sets have all different styles...trance, prog, techno etc.
Sasha is good too, if you like the more technical side of things. I have loved his music as well, especially Xpander, Involver and both of his GU CDs. I've also listened to a few of his essential mixes. What is cool about him is that he is definitely creative when it comes to putting together sets and making his mixes ultra-smooth and flowing. Sasha has also progressed, as have many DJs. Liking both DJs is possible, and it really depends on what your more in the mood for; a more natural, traditional and yet varied sound or more technical, creative and experimental yet still varied.
