Nice solid globe-ish synth there.

Imo, kick seems too long (too much bass).

Track does sound a bit muttled up (but that may also be due to mp3 compression at 128k maybe ?)

Given this another listen. I really like the feel to it.

One of the things that bugs me a little (And it's peanuts really) is the kick. It seems like you could probably shorten the envelope a little as there seems to be an artifact there. Not other drum sound but just a noice if you will from the sample itself.

The song starts up a little too quick, doesn't really take enough time to build in my humble opinion.

Overall finsish sounds a little distorted at the moment.

I still think this is a great track that just oozes potential.

I hope that I'm listening to the right one he he...

Cheers
Nem

UPDATE:

After some good reactions from amateur DJ's around the globe I decided to update Bright Light. I have changed the following things:

- New better kick
- Extra bassline added so the track has more power
- Added an extra hi hat riff
- Equalized the lead better
- Added an extra higher string riff at the end of the lead section
- Lowered the volume of the track
- Completely remastered the track with the new Nomen Nescio Flavour

This new version is called Bright Light 2005 ( u can compare it with the original Bright Light to hear differences) and can be heard at the link below:

Let me know what you guys think!

Thanks for the comment mate. Very pleases to hear that you like the mastering. I personally think there is enough energy after the climax but that is because I intended the track this way

Hi Mate,

you know that bl was and still is my fav of your tracks.the new version of it is much better because kick is very fine and the transition after the break to the mainlead has much more flow and energy than the old one.top notch stuff.

- yeah i definatly hear Solid Globe, and given that I think it sounds a bit too much like Solid Globe heh
- your break is a bit empty. remember, Sahara had that guitar in the break. you ought to add some more simle melodic elemens in the break as well, before the lead synth comes
- i actally like this uplifting vibe, but id say you should work some more on those synth melodies, just to make them outstanding
- like renco said, the percs a bit standard
