even if frankie just made that up (yet i'm sure he knew what he called one of the biggest underground hits of the time), it's common knowledge that the track is trance, was released in 1990, and probably the first, certainly before two full moons. as for hard proof of people actually calling trance trance, sven vath called Resistance D - Cosmic Love "frankfurt trance" in the clubnight show he hosted on 12-21-1991. that's all i can tell you, you'll have to find the recording somewhere and listen to it yourself.

yeah that's right, germany's clubnight radio goes all the way back to 1990.



You know...just sayin...Two Full Moons is far from the first trance track.

I give Platipus credit for their groundbreaking history, and their persistence in still supporting the genre (unlike so many other labels that fled to techno or progressive), but they really need to cut the fat to save the name. Hopefully the garbage can be isolated to the recent Euro sublabel. It may even be too late.
