Other than house and trance I listen to most forms of rock music (punk, alternative, emo, hard rock, etc.), good hiphop/rap (gangstarr, nas, big l, a tribe called quest, etc.), retro (depeche mode, new order, david bowie, the cure, etc.) as well as some pop music and some other stuff like motown, frank sinatra, barry white, etc.

Basicaly, a little of everything.

The thing with Sum41 is that it's unadultered fun. People like to hate on whatever becomes cool to listen to, and because SUM41 became so popular, they all of a sudden get all this hate from people that are "so underground, and non conformist" that they refuse to conform. Fack that. SUM41 4ever. I'm not a HUGE fan but I have seen them live when they decided to touch base with their canadian fan base and do small university shows on frosh weeks. That's admirable in itself. Of the pop-punk bands out there, they definately rank up there with the best.

Aye, Karim! I agree w/ you on both fronts, that Sum41 doesnt get enuff credit and that its too ofen easy and "cool" to hate on whut becomes popular!

As for ur list. lol, i was just listening to OLP last night, their clumsy CD when i was out crusing... CLUMSY is my ALLTIME favourite song from back in the day, non-edm. such a fantastic song.

really brings back memories!

high school was defined by the likes of OLP, I Mother Earth, Narvana, Moist, Greenday, etc. etc.

Oh the memories...

I've always enjoyed their music. Everytime I hear they're going to have a new album I think "great, this is going to be complete shit" but then they blow me away with quality music. While they aren't groundbreaking I think that all artists should be this consistent with quality.

pearl jam, iron maiden, black sabbath, Gladiator soundtrack, buju banton and 680 news....Sum 41 are fucking fantastic, there are one of the few new bands that are willing to go back to metals roots and have fun with classic rock and metal. Not band for a group of kids from Durham...

78% of me is Trance & Progressive Trance

but the rest of me is a mix of ambient, house, breaks, techno, acid jazz, old school, retro, alternative, classic rock, R&B, motown and some true classical masters

Hehe every once and a while I'll play some really old disco or freestyle just so I can shudder and run back crying to my Trance

I dont actaully listen to any kind of music beyond Trance. If I dont have a trance Cd in the car.. i'll usaully just turn the radio off and not listen to anything. I just cant stand RnB and Rock.

Lotta good stuff out there, since i get bored of stuff fast ive explored a bit but the usual trance, prog., house, tech, rock n roll, classic Rock (zeppelin, cream, rolling stones etc.) almost anything guitar based really (i play but not much these days) "punk" (strung out, taking back sunday etc.)ive found a respect for classical styles like impressionism (check out claude debussy for real chilled "ambient" stuff) and expressionism. blues is awesome, trying to get into jazz...hell i even listen to country (hank williams fukin rules)! peace
