PVD's set was average at best. I wasn't the least bit impressed with his track selection or even worse the crowd. Way too trashy for my taste. I go to Buzz occasionally and that doesn't bother me, but this place was just scuzzy. He did interact with the crowd a bit was was a nice change from the norm. Overall, it was not even close to the Sub Zero night he did at Buzz back at the end of '99.

Anyway, just my $0.02, but it was a waste of $35.

We got there exactly at 11 by the skin of our teeth in traffic & rain. Paul made my night: played my fav productions, Another Way, Face to Face, & Out there! I Lost my shit! He was a lil stoic at times. I couldn't believe all those kandy kids were sitting on the floor. wtf?! Like Raven said there were 35 of Us down there...we created our own vibe! Redeye & Twilochik were also in effect.

amit and VisionsofPVD...i was there too sat nite, and i was up near the front too. it was so awesome to see u guys interacting with freakin god up there. i thought that was tite as shit. this was my first time seein pvd live and im sure its not gonna be the last. amit, were u the one that broke out the blue glowsticks and just waved them in pvd's face with ur camera in hand? i remember u writing all kinda tracks down, like vega and interference, and how he'd acknowledge u with a nod and u went nuts!! hahaha, cool as hell. VisionsofPVD, i remember u holding up that twilo shirt too and he acknowledged u too. i remember seein him nod his head no for some reason, im guessin that he chose not to wear it. still tho, to talk to the man is awesome. did u get that shirt autographed? i remember u handing it to him. i took off my shirt and gave it to one of the promoters up there and he gave it to pvd to sign. then a few minutes later, i saw him still signing autographs, so i took off my hat and had him sign that too! not bad for the first time of seeing him...next time i'll bring more valuable stuff for him to sign. u guys remember when the firebreather scared the living shit out of him? too funny. hopefully u guys will have pix posted up soon. i developed mine and they turned out shitty. thats what i get for bringin a disposable. there was one guy in between u two that was nice enough to take a pic for me, and i got lucky cuz pvd gave a smile. hahaha, i blew that shit up! what a nite to remember.

hehehehe I was there as well! Great set! Danced my arse off! lol I was hoping to meet some Ta's as well but there was no meet up spot or anything. But I bumped into the NyC TA's I knew already which was fun! If you were looking at PvD and went to your left that's where I was for most of the nite dancing. I wore all black and had a white fuzzy kangol hat on. I'll be posting pics soon... =)

Come on guys... I *really* need to know what song that is. It's in Scott Henry's set right before PvD went up. It has female vocals with "I don't care what people say" in the chorus. Anyone else heard it?

I know I'm not hearing things cause I was sober through the whole thing. (Believe it or not).

Yea I was there when Scott Henry switched with Paul Van Dyk...
I wasn't really Paying attention to the track, cause when PVD came on...i just went nuts.

my guess is "iio - rapture" because Scott played that song last or second to last.
