^ I'll bet!

I've lived here in Mississauga all my life so I guess I can say I'm 'used' to the air.

What triggers asthma for you?

For me its taking part in a fast paced sport (like basketball) or if something makes me cough alot.

My asthma is triggered by stuff in the air, dry dust, and sports. I play soccer and floor hockey and find that I only use my inhaler for that. But being in the damp night air will trigger an attack.

If you have a drug plan you should try this inhaler called 'flovent'

I've been using it for the past while and its excellent! It does a great job in preventing attacks before they even happen.

Its rather expensive though...$50 a pop...thats why you should have a drug plan.

When I'm on it (and I'm not sick) I NEVER have to use my inhaler

Yes, I do take Flovent twice a day. And it works wonders. I am also on Ventelin as well. And I use Dimetapp! I pay 35 cents per perscprition on my dad's drug plan.

Ahh the good ol' days of parents drug plans.

I remember payin 35 cents way back when I was 18.
But since I'm no longer in school their plan wouldnt cover me.

My current plan with work covers 80% of drugs, so I try to be easy on the inhalers.

Do you find Dimetapp helps with the asthma?

Well with the Dimetapp, I have been on that since I was two and it seems to be only thing that clears up the congestion. They reformulated it a few years back because before that there was an ingrident that caused children to be prone to addiction of Dimetapp.

My mom used to give that to me every four hours most days in the winter. My mom was one of those over protective worry warts.

No problem! The red Dimetapp extra strength clears throat and nasal congestion in a week. Or if you really want to be brave you can down a whole bottle and sleep for two days and wait up with alot of energy and no congestion!

Cure for childhood asthma problems:

MOVE TO A DESERT CLIMATE!!!

When I was like 4-5 I had asthma then my family moved to Saudi Arabia and within no time the symptoms were gone...then after 12 years I came back without a trace of the stuff...

Dubai is looking pretty good these days!
