Daniel K's set was great, full of energy.
I have yet to be disappointed by Rob's sets (granted this and the addiction set are all I have heard). I love the bit of funk that is in your sets.
Both tracklistings were solid and both sets were solid.
And as always 24 is just ridiculous |
Thanks M8, couldn't agree more with you about Daniels set, it's officially in "Heavy Rotation" on the ole iPod, along with a couple other MW TA sets I'm loving right now...
As far as my set goes, thanks for the compliments, and yeah, I really try to get that funk in there, that Porter remix is currently one of my favs, even though the tracks been around the block a bit, and the Fuzzy Hair Remix of "Need to feel loved" is pure funk, and doesn't get the kind of play it deserves...
[/begin 24 rant]
And, yes, as always, 24 = Ridiculous... That whole thing with Heller's son being gay was out of hand... believe it or not, that's the first time I was like "Hmmm... they're really reaching..."
It wouldn't bother me as much except for the fact that the show has such a right wing agenda to it, and it just tried to make hardline conservatives appear as though they had a somewhat enlightened attitude towards homosexuality, when in reality they were just using an association technique that basically screamed "If this kid wasn't a fucking sodomite then a nuclear weapon wouldn't be on its way to blow some US city up."
I'm the biggest 24 fan out there, but man, it seems like they're just trying to piss off minority groups at this point...
[/end 24 rant, my apologies for those of you who suffered through it]
