A few Canadians were brought to court because the amount of MP3s they had rivaled the amount of music in some record store. The case was thrown out and the judge deamed their possession of these MP3s to be 100% legal.

well, I read into it. Apparantly the judge ruled that downloading music is not breaking copyright laws
