i hate that

I hate when it takes long personally if i cant finish within same day i scrap it.

i lose the vibe u have to be into what ur doing and on diffrent days my vibe is diffrent.I just love to get deep into a mix and be like.

"you know what would sound good here"

and in seconds you find that sound and belt out whatever your aiming for its great.

Ok Signal something for you to consider here you should never try to finish a track in a day thats the best way to make a crappy ass song. Because you will draw to a point where your ears will start to blend soundwaves and everything starts sounding totally off you should at minium take 3 to 4 days on a track.

Igloo is right! a song should take more than a day. why would you scrap a song if you cant finish it in one day? thats silly. Ive made songs in one day and igloo is also very right about something, and that is that even though ive done the song so fast, by the time i get off the computer, my ears are killing and I actually feel sick to my stomach from looking at the same crap all day. once you hit that point, you arent thinking as clear. by the next day when i listen to my track, it sounds like crap and ive put stuff in that just doesnt sound right. i still have songs going that ive been working on for a few months. i will finish them but i need to think about the song while im working or taking a walk and my head will do the rest.

Hello!

Hey I want to thank all of you for your replys on this post, I am surpised how peopel here is willing to help, and i Really aprecciate that form each one of you, I feel really supported.

Well I've read all of your replys, and i think i can produce something professional with Fruity, so i'm gonna be playing with it for now, I'm not sure if i'm gonan use another softwares or hardware int he future, but at least from what i've read here, i think i'm not gonna waste my time learning to use Fruity.

I browse Dj's websites, and i found Yahel & Ashkan Fardost (Envio, salt Lake), they use mainyl software and cubase for producing.

If i can reach that sound someday, I think i'm gonna be satisfy

i 've heard some pros also use fruity loops, so I think they are just different ways to work, and reach certain sounds.

I' haven't do it yet, so if anyone think i am wrong in my decision, I will hear you.

Thank You Very Much

well

What happens is after i save and go back to a track i lose interest and start something new its like i have to finish that track or i lose my groove.I just go with the flow when im producing and when i hear this and that i get alot of ideas but when i pull away from that track it seems i cant get started on it again like im feeling something else.

I dont really think up tracks i sit down and just first mess with my synth then i try to get a good bass line going and progress from there.

i wanna email sum 1 this sample to tell me what im doing wrong with it sumthns not right i cant figure it out tho.

im starting to enjoy making this one but need help.

Hey guys, I just got FLStudios the other day and I havnt even begun to look into it yet. I am young, and I am making the jump from PS2's MTV music generator into this./ Definalty overwelming. Seems like there is a TON of stuff to learn. Just wondering what the learning curve is going to be and what will be the fastest and easiest way to learn (or do I just read the manual straight up). Any answers will help!

I was insulting you, not general Dj's... i Dj'ed for 5 years myself, im sure you know the large number of DJ's with egos the size of texas.. thats what i was poking fun at..

anyway.. you decided in your first post to call all the people who had already given advise as stupid jackasses, which im sure you were just saying in fun

I in turn decided in fun to call you a little name and what happens, you get all emotional and upset..

I just wanted to point out you were being neive bagging FL as not being used by any pro-producers.. and if you read my post you would have also seen I agreed that eventually, a better host is worth looking into..

haha

LoL FLSTUDIO just gets blasted cuz it looks toyish but the fact is its more than enough unless your planning on producing tracks for brittney spears its all you need.

Its perfect for electronic genre's proffesionaly and non but when it comes to major tracks like alotta pop music then it isnt a go for it they use protools.

heres how it goes
Crap

Mtv music generator magix etc.

Good

Flstudio reason cubase ableton etc.

Pro Grade

Protools and hardware etc.

thats my opinion.

but then again its all in what u do with it.

The problem with this thread is this... someone asked for help, and we all gave our opinions. at some point (my first reply in this thread) a fight started. we all wanted to let everyone know which software was the best and wanted to flex our muscles. but at some point we lost track of the real problem. this thread wasnt about who is better or who is stupid or anything else. its about a poor little fella. a poor little fella named pinokio. sorry for wrecking your thread little buddy

god speed little pinokio.... god speed

In a stan from southpark voice..

You know, I've learned something today. Trance isn't about what host you have or what you do with it, it's about how well you slag off everyone else who does anything different to yourself!

and in our haste, we have lost sight of that most important! confusing the hell out of noob producers!!

Sorry Shane!! &
Sorry Pinokio!!!

Note: all in jest..
