yes the mob is very much alive in the GTA and Niagara Pennisula area. I dated a guy whose uncle was in the Mob. Can't say my mom was too fond of me hanging out at their "farm" hideout. Lots of limos, drinking REMY MARTIN on sunday mornings before church and expensive dinners at their own private table in every restaurant. I believe that uncle is in Milhaven Maximum security now for murdering his brother in law.

I can almost guarantee you that the Comfort Zone has ties to organized crime. I also think that the cops have been paid off. There isn't a chance in hell that place would be allowed to operate the way it does if there wasn't.

Biker gangs(more specifically, Hell's Angels) have one of the strongest grasps on North American organized crime.

Funny you say that...after reading about all these trance events @ Viva, I was thinking the crowd would be more diverse, but the other night, on my way home from Scumfrog, I ran into this Asian couple at a light that were looking for Viva @ Vic Park and Eglinton LOL!! So they ask me where and I direct them to Woodbine, but they had some top 40 dance/R&B playing in their car so it made me wonder if Viva is a Trance club! I guess not! But I guess every club has to have some top-40 to make money...
