I'm at Palladium every day during the school year... it's a brand new (few years old) NYU dorm with new gym, pool, dining area... lol

The first full on rave I ever went to was teh One Nation party at Roxy in 2003 I believe. Misstress Barbara headlined, it was definitely cool to change pace and do something different.

My first one was in '99 - DC Armory, Ultraworld rave. Tsyoshi Suzuki and Scott Henry were the headliners. I went with about 15 friends and my x-gf at that time. Everyone rolled except me and my x-gf. I found it to be boring and kinda weird. watching all the people around me get f-d up and bug-eyed, like watching aliens. Saw someone getting a bj, a grl fingering another girl, dude wakin' off his limp memb0r in the restroom (that was just ill), and all kins of other ill sh!t.

Next year, I went to same event with my next (x)gf. This time we both rolled. our first time. Moby was headlinin'. I was wacked off my t!ts... total gurn (even broke a tooth) I was told later that we were making out for like 7 hours straight. (felt like 15 mins at that moment) and we wuz fffffffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuqd, yo...
I got home and couldn't believe the things that we did

you never forget your first girl, first rave, and first s3x on e.

the most memorable rave was the last one, I think in 2001. It was not allowed thereafter. It was PvD, Scott Henry, Icey. the sht was off the hoook. I was stashed away in the speaker down in D&B room for like 3 hours (not sure how I didn't get a permanent hearing damage) - just rollin....

yeah. the good ol' days. shame ultraworld don't have "thanksgiving" parties anymore -they were definitely the event to look forward to.

btw, there's one comming up soon at the Baltimore docks - Starscape. check out www.ultraworld.net

peace!

The party i was talking about i believe was candlyland 1... The only artist i could remember was Uberzone spacemen and prophecy collective... There were about 50 other djs though... I wasnt really that wasted that evening.... But for a rave which BT was at i got totaly wrecked I had to walk into the crowd and vanish from my friends for about 2hrs i didnt wanted them to see me like that... BT was also pretty fucked up aswell... He was train wrecking all over the place, but the music was sooo fucking good it didnt matter he played the lucid dub of dreaming into the lucid vocal mix of dreaming and it was absolutely stunning.... It was great to see and speak with him afterwords,he was wearing some crazy baggy UFO's and was completely fucked up huggging everyone he saw lol... great times...

^^^ LOL@BT ahahhaah... though you must feel bad for the guy - I mean how can you really appreciate your own music when you've painstakingly put it toghether yourself? I mean its like watching a pr0n movie staring yourself. You know what will happen next and no surprise.

I guess for BT the rush must have been from all the people trippin' to his music. He is a sick sick producer though - I got mad respect for BT. Though he does seem a bit full of himself, IMHO... maybe that's why he didn't get the credit he's due, yet. He feels he is above "trance" and releases very main-stream stuff. If he was releasing more "underground" type of sound, he'd be on top of the charts.
