I don't really agree with you. It 's not really likely that Sash! based his name on Sasha's.
Their music is just to different. There's absolutely no resamblance between the two. That's why I don't understand why we're even discussing this topic.

i recently purchased BOTH, sash! - mysterious times, and sasha - xpander on vinyl, and i have to say, i'm finding it hard to mix either.... sash! is just too dance-like, and xpander is just so hardcore trance, not like hardcore bass beats or anything, it's just so trance. it's hard to fit it into my uplifing/epic style.. oh well...hehe

I just want to say that i am sorry to all my trance buddy for posting this ridiculious post of Sash vs Sasha here..I dont know what came over me comparing this 2 individuals..Sasha is BETTER..I hope everyone here can forgive me and pretend this thread was never posted..

Nothing pisses me off more than idiots who think they know but really know fuck all! This topic does not "enrage" me, you fuckin asshole, you won't even take into account that some people are just new to trance and are likely to get them confused! If you're just getting into trance there is nothing wrong with listening to Sash! Obviously, Sasha is the better DJ but I still have every Sash! release in my collection. The Future Breeze Mix of "Encore Une Fois" is still good and "Stay" in my opinion is still a nice track and so is "La Primavera". Cheesy they may but there is nothing I hate more than idiots who think they're taste of music is so good they can just slag anything more commercial and less trancey. The kind of people that do this are the ones that probably can't even tell any difference and are just saying it to make their music tastes look better. Sasha "Xpander" and "Scorchio" are both very, very different to Sash!'s stuff so there's no point in making a comparision, but there is absolutely no need to post a load of abuse when somebody tries to compare them. I do not think he was trying to cash in on Sasha's name, thye both have very different styles. Sash! is commercial, Sasha isn't! There are still far worse things classed as trance than Sash! e.g Fragma, Alice Deejay. In the UK Sash! is taken more seriously than either of these.
