right on... honestly, i would NOT bash him if he was good at what he does. being good at what you do demands a certain level of respect even if i or someone else doesn't like the style or method. but everyone must agree when it comes to something that is purely objective, such as mixing, that you are either good or you aren't. that being said, i'll reiterate my point that someone who has been in this business for this long, gained this much momentum, fame, accolades, etc. how can you suck this bad at the fundamentals? if you go in to a hospital to remove your testicular cancer, and see the surgeon crack open a copy of Dummies Guide to Ballsacks just as the anesthetic kicks in, your future faith in that doctors ability might be a LITTLE shaken... at this point, i'd be actually relieved if i saw tiesto crack open a Dummies Guide to Mixing... at least it shows he knows he needs to work on it and is trying...
