Some stages are licensed, some are not...the activate one never has been, not sure if it will be this year.
There are smaller stages with beer gardens.. this stage is the largest in the intersection of church and wellesley. There is no licensed area. However, there are liqour stores in the area

serious technical difficulties tonight.....
HOWEVER!!!!!!!!!!!! our local boys showed up with nothing but BEATS in mind and simply tore that corner apart. What a perfect ending to a great pride weekend. DJ Dan was solid but i think thrown off by the troublesome technical issues...ive heard him play alot better and alot more diverse...his set was very monotonous...great tunes on their own but pieced together like they were...well i didn't dig it. Still had fun though.
Then came Deko-ze and holy shit the place went off like a nuclear bomb...no technical issues here as the man from Saskatchawan simply killed it...brilliant intensity and superb track selection had the place off its feet. Highlight for me was his 2 new songs and Superchumbo - Revolution (didnt see it coming).
Finally Jelo came on and WOAH!!!!!!!all i gotta say is...i wanna see this mofo on a good system. HOLY shit!!! Crazy Bass..i can still feel the vibrations through my body. ANd energy to match deko-ze at times...wow wow wow....Jelo my friend you have a new fan in me...
Great pride wknd...we were simply too tired to go out agian sunday night so we called it quits at around 1am and took the long streetcar home to longbranch.
