Suck Me Plasma, Instinct, EyeQ, Hypnotic, Moonshine, etc; pretty much all your usual suspects from before roughly 97.
It isn't so much that there weren't DJ mixes around then -there were. However, the emphasis was normally more on compilations featuring a bunch of tracks from a certain label, kind of as an advertisement for that label's material. The DJ mixes were an entirely different beast. However, once the Superstar DJ phenomenum grew, label heads began to figure that people would rather have that than a bunch of unmixed tracks, and the unmixed compilation began to fade away from the market. For a while, it was a mix of both: a regular, unmixed comp with a DJ mix of those tracks on a second CD, but eventually it was just a DJ mix that came out.
