Ahhh Yes. I am glad to see how you defend what you like when someone bashes it. But when it is the other way around (Like a dj someone likes, and you do not) you will go out of your way to cut that person down just because you do not like his or her style, mixing technique, tracks they produced, etc. So, to you people doing that
I Prove My Point,

The only thing I bashed that you did was try to sweeping generalize a genre as "bad" when it's impossible to categorize everything a such, let alone a whole genre.
And I wasn't necessarily defending happy hardcore: I'm clearly not a fan, but as I said before, it has it's time and place. I was simply comparing what you were doing to many of the trance bashers (its all anujnacrap, tiesto alweays sucks, etc) around here who likewise refuse to admit that it has a proper atmosphere in which to be played. It is the people who don't like that atmosphere.
You did make a good effort to try to make me look biased and uncreditable but I, for one, feel you failed, especially because your example didn't show what happened in this thread. But I was serious, we all still do like you around here. That said, the major spacing between your posts was played out a year (or more ago, and does nothing to contribute to your post (I feel)).

Tribu my man, I jest - or as we say in Australia, 'just taking the piss'. I have nothing against hill billies (esp. the beverly hills kind) or country music. Not my cup of coffee but thats why I drink tea instead. |
My apologies to you...it's been a caustic kind of night. Like I said above, it's not the music itself that is bad, but the mood and atmosphere in which it is played. Those places and feelings are not for everyone and I respect your candor. Sorry for being rude about what was obviously, in retrospect, a joke.

The bashing I was talking about had nothing at all to do with this thread.
