It's always the way I've done things. Clubs can be very unreliable with thier sound system, so I've had to rent out sound equipment of my own to boost the sound and give it a more clearer, crisper sound. It all depends on $$$$ though. You gotta make sure you're gonna cover your costs, or it's not worth it, right.

But big clubs usually have great sound... and why would a promotion company fork out the extra cash when it's really not that big of a deal to them... they're still getting thier tickets sold.

That's when it all comes down to quantity, not quality

^^^true, but on another note which club or venue has the best sound system in vancouver? I've heard the commodore but I havent' been to that many to take a clear stance.
