Platonic friendships between men and women are possible, but very, very rare.

My best friend and I are an example. That started off as a romantic feeling on my part (which has since been replaced by something just a little purer than that ), but since then, we've become extremely close friends. And she has a bf. That isn't me. But she would trust things with me that she wouldn't with anybody else, her boyfriend included. I will never betray her.

But as a lot of people have said, most guys, when they hang around you, want to get in your pants. I'm not saying that is the case here, but it is most of the time.
