Invisible Grin PVD at Twilo

I was at that party. Waited on line for 3 hours to get in. At about 3:00am the club was so packed that they started a first-out next-in rule. My friend got nailed by a cop for drinking on the line. Got in at about 5:00am and had a great time until 8. With the exception of not being able to move. Recently it's like that all the time in there.

nah, I don't go to Tunnel anymore. It used to be good back in the day when Junior Vasquez & DT spun there. Twilo is the best club in NY, actually in the States.

Me and my friend were first in line on friday night, we got interviewed by some guy askin us why we were first in line and how long we had been waiting....but, to add to that track list, i know he played Sunskreem - Coda(awesome track...really heavy, first time i've ever heard it spun live) He spun a reall good set i think, it did seem like he was spinnin some really hard trance, which i personally am not a fan of, but maybe i was hearin things, i was out in the li lobby area coolin down so all i could hear was the thud...

Cool PVD 2/9 at twilo (some track names)

VERY TRUE!!!! PVD really is a genius. That seven hour set was incredible from start to finish! It was such an awesome experience I've been trying to get the tunes he played all week.... If you guys know more i'm DYING to hear em!!!! also those who saw him at guvernment last weekend, he played many of the same songs as this twilo set. aside from the ones you already listed, here are some that I know of:

Blank and Jones- the nightfly (pants and corset mix)
Des Mitchell- welcome to the dance (airscape mix)
Agnelli & Nelson- vegas
Dj Misjah and DJ Tim- Access
Laguna- Skeptic Watcher
Maurice- Feline

Members of Mayday- "10 in 01" (i remember this vividly.... BEAUTIFUL!!!!)

Warp Brothers- We will survive
Mauro Pictotto- baguette
Jose Amnesia- the eternal (life on mars mix)

Bismark- reactivate (trasp 1 mix) THIS SONG IS GREAT and it also happens to be the 8th track on part 1 of the live at innercity set from new years eve

Dave Forbes- Questions (great song. the mix he played was kayestone rmx but i can't find it. the magica one is pretty damn close though, u'll definitely recognize it!)

Ummm, did i say im not into trance? no, i said im not into hard trance...there is a difference between the two, and the thud has nothing to do with the sound system, hard trance relies on a VERY heavy bass sound...many times it comes out instead of sounding like an uhnsa beat, its just thud, thud, thud, thud....

Thumbs down UMES23

The airscape remix of Welcome to the dance sux. Original is betta, PVD produced it. Good thing he didn't play that at Twilo, I think ppl would have throwen something at him. A lot of ppl complain that PVD spins the same records (for an angel, welcome to the dance, born slippy, synathesia etc.) Many complain that his sets are not fresh or cutting edge. That he needs to buy new records. It's really not good when u can predict what a DJ's gonna play. What do U all think? Admit it his b-day set, mark spoon's b-day set, & innercity all have the same tracks.

Well keep this in mind. He has a residencey at Twilo so he probably spins there two or three times a month. Plus he spins at all these other huge parties or random parties as well ... I would say that on average he spins maybe 4 or 5 times a month. Now he obviously has to mix up his sets at his residencies or people would get really really pissed. I heard him at Twilo twice and I would say that his sets seemed to be very different. However, if parties are at different geographical locations then he'll likely spin similar songs cuz decent new songs dont come out every 2 weeks. I would say that he's pretty much like every other dj except that he spins so much and many of his sets are recorded. Therefore your under the impression that his sets are all the same.

hmmm

Honestly... if you listen to Live sets on mp3 i understand why you want new trackz...all the time... but Some djs dont play enough of there older shit either and that pisses me off when i go watch them....PVD is differnt he plays new and old tunes and sometimes tunes that are extremely rare!!.... and when you hear a classic PVD tune like For An Angel, or Another Way... Live MANNN..it cant get betterthen that.....FUCKIN AMAZING!!its more like a concert then a live set... thats why i love about pvd.. cuz hes Amazing when it comes to Picking the crowd up and making the dance floor dance... if you think PVD sets are boring when you see him live..Im sorry i dont think Trance is the music for you !!!

I WISH HE SPUN 2-3x a month! He has a bi-monthly residency (every other month). I've seen him 6x, he neva disappoints. (Except when he stopped spinnin at 8:30 to a full house last fri). I neva said his sets were boring. Tranceclubber, I LOVE PVD. I have over 50 live sets, He does play the same tracks. I think pvd just plays what he likes.
