it's all about havin the balls and the patience to do it. i've been able to get pvd's, avb's and oakie's autographs no problem.
these were all at events at clubs. and i just stayed the whole night. at the end, when they were winding down, i was just took whatever i wanted signed, held it up into the air, and persisted in having bouncer/camera guy/dj bring it up to the big name, and sign it.
i got a shirt signed by oakie, out there and back signed by pvd, and ASOT 2005 by avb.
most dj's are real nice, i think. oakie i heard was kind of an ass, though.

just last week, i met avb. he was watching another dj, and i thought i recognized him, so i just went up, and asked him, are you djing next? and he said yea. i shook his hand, and asked him to sign my cd and had a little chat. he didn't have a pen, so he said he'll do it later. sure enough at the end of the set, he came down to sign some stuff and take some pictures. i fucked up the picture unfortunately because i was trying to tkae the picture myself. you can see one of my eyes and half of his face. but i'll have another opportunity i'm sure.

well. i like to get DJ signatures, because its fun to have a 'souvenir'. not that i think they are that special, it's just like "hey dude, good set. could you sign this?"

most of my autographs are on paper napkins. it's just something nice to have, IMO.

When it comes down to it I wait till the very end of there set and/or get them before they start when it comes to getting a DJ's picture and autograph. Most of the Dj's have been super duper nice about it. Some seemed annoyed but since I am a girl they do it for me anyways
