Listening to underground music makes me cooler on the net. I liked dudes like Markus Schultz, White Room, Perry O'Niel but since you guys said they suck I pretty much stopped listening to them, mostly because you trance experts say they are bad.

Most of the time a track becomes a famous it will be played to death by every dj and his dog. This means too much exposure to in clubs, radio et al. The track can go very stale right after people begin to get sick of it, and it's appeal can go sliding down, to the point that it becomes unbearable.
This can get quite annoying and most of the time I would the same - ie moving on.
However, I have to diasgree with the fact that just because a song becomes famous it deserves to be abandonded. This is mostly not the case with non EDM music although it can alpply to EDM as well. There are songs that are called "timeless classics" - popular songs that will never loose their appeal due to that fact they have been produced with sheer quality and not for the primary purpose for mass exposure in the music industry and commercial success.

any person who does anything relating to art because of the way people preceive him as a result is a gimp.

I listen to music that's so underground, it's overground in Australia!
