not to mention, if you befriend a resident at a club, he may be able to get you a guest spot sometime, if you're lucky.

also, remember. some promoters know diddly squat about music. others do. in both cases, they have friends which they believe have similar tastes in music as them. should you come recommended by one of these friends, you have a lot higher chance of getting a genuine shot. |
