Must not be so funny to the Yankees, considering theyd be third if they played in that division. Lets not forget their LOSING RECORD against the central this year. The only mission the Yankees are currently on is to find the television remote so they can watch the playoffs from home. Maybe they'll get lucky and Cleveland will knock off the sox.
Cleveland has 7 games left against Kansas city, and 6 left against each the devil rays and white sox. That provides more or less two oppurtunities to win the division, though I think the wild card is more realistic.
yeah, we'll see. It's this time of year that the mystique of the Yankees starts to hit home to the opposition. Having a much easier schedule isn't something to brag about but it will make it much sweeter when the Yanks trounce their way to the post season. And when they get there, everybody's going to be afraid.

LOL having an easy schedule now means we played our hard games early on...that may help explain the slow start.
Don't worry, after the way you've handled yourself here, Ill be sure to rub it in when the yanks miss the playoffs entirely . Though if NY gets it and Cle goes home, Ill be the first to admit I was wrong

as much as many people think the yankees can make the playoffs, the a's and angels still are playing well, and the all the white sox need is to even out par the next couple of weeks .. they probably are going to get out of this slump, but i gotta say .. they had a 10+ game advantage in august, and now it's 4 ??

We Yankee fans are all arrogant. But then again, we can usually back it up.
When was the last time the Indians won the World Series again?

Nah, the Indians made great strides this year. I would have preferred to seem them win the Central as opposed to the White Sox but they are young, talented and now even more experienced. We'll hear more from them in the coming seasons, while New York and Boston get a little older with each passing year. The future is bright for Cleveland.
