Glad to see that most people think Zocalo as one of the best tracks of the Album as i love it .It has so much feeling and is so mellow,i can't get enough of this.I'm waiting for the album cd just for this.Brilliant, just brilliant

actually I like the album. my favourite tune is "bounce back" produced with Remy. Zocalo & Empty State are pretty good too.. Cant stand "control freak" though and the breakbeats in "gipsy" dont sound too good to me.. But I guess I will be getting one of the vinyl samplers anyway

i'd say he's only been in the scene (or at least popular) since around 1999 or so - only about 6 years or so - in comparison to other dj's armin is a baby when it comes to being in the scene

rofl, i take notice of serious reviews by respected individuals. The BBC lost all my respect with its constant whoring of every House genre under the sun, and its downright stubborness and blindsightedness to move their old and tiring DJ lineup from London to Ibiza and expect everyone to enjoy it.
Just think i pay nearly £10 a month for some pleb at the BBC to tell me he thinks Shivers is a letdown.

Well in all fairness that 'pleb' is right

but since `"76" I lost my respect for Armin productions... sorry.
True, 'cause that album pretty much sucks... I only liked the track he did together with Airwave at the end.

I dont get it. what does that got to do with his current productions?
Just because Armin was on fire before doesnt guarantee that his future releases will be great.
And the reviewer shouldnt take the older releases in considoration when reviewing a CD. He should only review the current production.
The cd is weak because its mainly full of weak productions. And it wont get better because Armin was good 5 years ago. OK?????

I bet some of you haven't listened to it entirely.
i for one have listened to it in its entirety and agree word for word what the BBC reviewer had to say about the album. it's just nothing special at all. another album that barely raises an eyebrow. Zocolo is okay though. everything else is bleh.

baby in the scene? i think not.
his early releases and productions were just really good. Boundaries of Imagination. the uplifting, dreamy remixes of 2000, 2001. it's just that the creativity that goes into his current productions are not even close to that of what people expect of him.
rebel9 is right once again, we review the album as it is, without any consideration of his past works. interesting to see how the hardcore Armin fans get offended so easily.
Of course his past efforts have no baring on what this cd was like, I was merely pointing out the reviewer seems ignorant to the fact that Armin's been producing for years already.
