yea... Deliverance is my fav

the lord of the bass is a bit of a pisstake. what you have to understand is that in the last 18 months, a lot of people have signed up here mainly for marketing themselves, pushing things on people & so on. Before that it was a community with a great spirit, so yeah you're probably coming across some jaded people here, wary of the next person to sign up & try & push stuff across us.
Out of interest, if you paid someone to write the stuff on the site, get your money back, the spelling is rather harsh to say the least, and the design cramped. Also the sound isn't a good thing, many people prefer the option of turning it on instead of rushing for the off button so that they can navigate the site & carry on listening to the cd they have on or whatnot.

Hi guys,
Welll this is a surprise...
The other night when I first posted on these forumns, i was very sad and upset by the tone of the posts.. I mean saying my site isnt good is one thing, but some here tried to toally rip into me, and mock my music, which i didnt like at all
Musicians and people who listen to music should all be part of a meaningful community, whereby if one music style is not liked by an individual they shouldnt just slag it off, but just respect it for what it is.. There are many styles of music i dont like, and many productions i listen to that in my mind i think are dire, but i would not comment in a harsh and cruel way to somebody, just to make them feel down.
I came away from this forumn, never to return, and i blocked all emails to my inbox, because i was sick and tired of the harsh remarks..
Funny... tonight... i was looking through my inbox and came across one i forgot to delete, and i thought.. hey.. i will check the forumn out and see what posts and harsh remarks have been added, but i got a nice surprise..
Thanks all the people here who added nice comments, or at least added 'support' for me.
I have been producing trance music for nearly 7 years now, signed as an artist for 5 years. I have always written music, and will continue to do so always. I am certainly not an amateur, and the comments regarding the tunes on my site was totally disgusting. One comment from someone here 'your site is shit, your music is shit.. go and redo it'
I would feel ashamhed being part of a community whereby people like that are present.
That opening tune on my site 'Divinity' is a tune that is blowing the dancefloors up in Britain at the moment, and went down a storm at the trance club Knowledge recently.
I did take the comment on board.. about the music starting as the site launched and i have taken these facts on board.
It took 4 months for me to learn how to do Flash and web programming, and my site is my first attempt. Because i had so many problems getting it on the server for some bizarre reason, i got so stressed and forgot to proove read, or do a final makeover of the site - hence why it had so many problems.
So the site is back on,,, and to be honest i really dont care if no one likes it.. i do...
Its the same with music.. say i came to these forumns, never having released a record, man... some of you guys here would have put me off for life, and i would have convinced myself i was shite.
Please be careful how you communicate your feelings to people.. as newbies would be scared off making music for life, if they received comments like that.
Luckily.. i have over 24 releases out, and after dealing with pain in the backside record company A&R guys for 7 years.... lol... i have got a thick skin....lol
Anyways.. it was nice to see some 'nice' members here.. thanks
Take care
Steve
