Lucid, everyone gets like that sometimes. You don't know whether you're coming or going, and everything just feels numb and pointless. But usually there's a reason why people feel like this.
I always find that if I'm feeling a bit down in the dumps, there's usually a reason for it. Sometimes it won't be obvious at first, but sooner or later you'll figure it out. Maybe it's not that something has upset you lately, maybe it's just the fact that nothing has happened to you recently to make you feel alive and happy. If that's the case, try doing something new. You say you've moved house recently, well this is a perfect opportunuity to join a club or do something totally different, with a different group of people.
Maybe a change in your life is all you need to feel better. Sometimes you don't even realise that you're missing something until you do something new.
Whatever happens, I'm sure things will get better for you soon. Like I say, everyone gets a bit like that at some point, but we're still here, live and kicking!

I agree... you just have to want it really bad.
Although patience is not an easy thing that is learned... it must take a lifetime. At least for me... I think it will take so long because I HATE learning patience, hate having to be patient. It is very frustrating. However, I believe that a lack of patience is a major cause of the difficulties and unhappiness in the world today. Too often, we are impatient with ourselves, with our family members and friends, and even with the God. We seem to demand what we want right now, regardless of whether we have earned it, whether it would be good for us, or whether it is right. Some seek immediate gratification or numbing of every impulse by turning to alcohol and drugs, while others seek instant material wealth by questionable investments or by dishonesty, with little or no regard for the consequences. Perhaps the practice of patience is more difficult, yet more necessary, now than at any previous time. It seems that its one obstacle after another, in a never ending battle uphill. Although challenges, trials do make us a bit more humble. That is a good thing... i guess. Once a guy said to me 'We should learn to be patient with ourselves. Recognizing our strengths and our weaknesses, we should strive to use good judgment in all of our choices and decisions, make good use of every opportunity, and do our best in every task we undertake. We should not be unduly discouraged nor in despair at any time when we are doing the best we can. Rather, we should be satisfied with our progress even though it may come slowly at times.'
I think we all learn things from our dificulties. For myself, I see that I can help other people through difficulties that I have already gone through. You have an inside perspective which can be beneficial.
