drum & bass - exactly what it says.
techno - all encompassing digitally created music.
trance - laid back "dreamy" id call it form of techno.
the important thing is this.
any song can have house parts, trancy parts, beat parts.
usually no one song can be descibed under one genre.
thats the dumbest shit ive ever heard.
when my friends get in my car and i got shit playing they joke "dude im in a trance man." |
LOL, ha ha, well, maybe the title isn't correct then. Anyways, if the musics really good it should put you in a trance anyways, regardless of what genre you want to title it.
And, If someone wasn't put in a trance somewhere way back when, they wouldn't of given this music such a name. The trance back then was for the most part more hypnotic though than most of todays popular stuff. Trance, drum rhythms and dancing goes back even further. Techno is based off of drum rhythms too. If you look back far enough in history you'll see that trance and techno is the same thing to certain extents.
Remember it all came from House way way back when and was essentially the same music when it turned into acid and new beat then hardcore and so on.
