I already speak fluent English (duh), Spanish, and I can hold my own in German.

Ok, lemme explain something to you...

The LAST people you want to get into an arguement with are russians, IN russian, when you DONT know the language. See, those of us that were born with the language and grew up with the language are able to improvise insults. To be dead honest, you wont pick up that part of the language. You might be able to communicate, but youll never be able to improvise it.

Something like...

Yobani suka khuyovaya, ya tvayu mamu vrot yebal

Is something your mp3's wont teach you. But good luck anyway.

Oh, and I don't think it's that hard compared to hungarian, for example.

Dude, no one is trying to put you down. People are calling it how it is. Russian is one of the hardest languages in the world. People who live and study Russian for the most part never fully learn it because it is complex beyond believe.

Now, since you wanna argue with people, just like Vlad sad you have absolutely no hope of being able to come up or most likely even understand the insults. Vlad's was a little weak so i'm going to give you one..

Jabat tebja v mordy, dura nabitaja, pidrilo hujovaja, jabala zajabi, ti ponjla, pidaraz?

that's one sentence...translated literally its...

fuck you in your face, beaten bitch, piece of shit ******, shut up your ugliest face ever, you got me, cock sucker?

see in english that made little sense, in russian you'd be figthing the guy right now.

Edit: knowing a Slavik language will help but once again they aren't as complex as Russian. Poles, Albanians and such would never be able to fully know Russian.

Pissed me off, because that would've been 15% salary bonus. It caps at 15%, so I'll never be willing to learn another language after Russian. Doesn't help me at all.

Sounds easier to just freshen up your German and get that extra 12%, if the bonus is your only incentive.

Or aren't you allowed to try and get that 70% again?

Punisher the point was that you cannot become fluent. Russian is probably like 340% fluent compared to EXTREMELY easy Spanish and not-so-hard German. Especially since you want to communicate with people in a language where whole senteces are made up of slang.

I was learning german for 8 years and I can hardly compile one sentence properly.
Bad teacher, yes.
However, I'm sure I could learn it in a few months of spending time in Germany.
My father did... In ~50 days.
