I didn't let it get me down though so I found the organizer of the event and told him about myself and that I really wanted to get a gig. He told me that he was definatly up for new acts so he asked me for a demo.
I had never done a demo before so I was a bit nervous about how I should make one but one day after school I just turned on all my shit and recorded a perfect set on my first try. I gave the demo to him and waited for a call, I waited, and waited some more. Today I finally got that call.
I'm 100% booked for the next Late Knight on October 22 with a whole room devoted to EDM music. he asked me to bring my own equipment so he could save money to rent a lighting system. My name is going to be on flyers around campus and everything! I'm so fucking excited I can't wait. If anyone lives close to UCF come down and watch me trainwreck in front of a live crowd for the first time haha!!!!  Wish me luck!
