Tatgirl...just remember to take your friend's car through the baboon/monkey trail...

I swear they have a spare auto-parts business on the side goin' on!

Yep, any of the animals can do damage and the park doesn't pay for it... they've ripped off licence plates, antennas, whatever they can get their hands on... they leave scratches on your car, too!

Gotta be careful. Go in a crappy car!

I asked my dad if we could take it through b/c it's his car. I didn't want to be responsible! My car was fine though. And about the park not paying for it...did you hear about the law suit they just had and lost?

We chartered a decomissioned Concorde that got us to Nairobi and back.

Contrary to popular belief, I do have an airstrip in my backyard.

YOu mean it's not just for packages coming in from Columbia?

See any Ligers or Tigons?

- - -

Tigon
(Tigons are sometimes referred to as Tiglons or Tions.) Tigons are very rare; only a few exist in the
world, and even those are only held by private owners. This is because it is much more difficult to
get the male tiger to mate with the female lion. Tigons look very similar to ligers. They have varying
stripes and spots. Tigons are also orangish in color. Male offspring may have a mane, but will be
very modest. They are able to produce both lion and tiger sounds when they roar. One difference
between tigons and ligers is their size. Tigons are not nearly as large as ligers. In fact, tigons are
often times smaller than both of their parents. The lifespan of tigons, as well as other hybrid animals,
is shorter than a normal species. The animals seem prone to cancers and other illnesses. The Tigon
is the result of breeding a male Tiger to a female Lion.

Liger
This Picture illustrates just how large these hybrids can grow to be (see above).
"In tigers, the fathers contribute the genes that limit growth. In lions,
the mothers contribute the genes that limit growth. When you take
a female tiger, and a male lion, the offspring (liger) have no genes
to regulate how big they get. They just keep growing their whole lives.
On the other hand, a tiger father and a lion mother will make a tigon.
Tigons are much smaller than their lion and tiger parents because they
have two sets of growth limiting genes."
