If the ppl who did that got only a tiny-winy bit of a brain they will never tell it anyone (cuz on bt's site is said that they will talk) and they will never sell the equipment and the tracks to anyone! I think at the moment they are standing in front of bt's mixer, treating it with an axe to destroy it till there are no big pieces left. Then they will throw the destroyed equipment into a river or into a deep forest, so that nobody would find it again. If that crime was planned so well that it all worked, they will not be discovered or caught ... at least that's what I think.

Yeah, the thieves should die in hell... Maybe U don't know BTs music so well, see the amazement of it.. not the way it is engineered, but IT like a whole, in full... imagine simply crying at a number of songs, no matter how often U listen to them... imagine learning life through his enlightment.. everyone has their "idol" (I hate pl that have role-models, but let's say so). Ours (I am speaking in the name of some number of people.. some large number of ppl) is BT.

He had backups. but not OFFsite, that's the deal. he never thought of break&enter... as I said, if they wanted to destroy his gear, they would've done it on site.. U send a message like this! but if they stole only the music, it would've been to obvious...

and Pjotr G (and all others) the music (20 trax) have been written in 3 years... he spends incredible amounts of time in the studio, so it won't be as easy to get them again, like that...

also, don't fuken say he's rich and he can get he's equipment back the next day; some of the synths are no longer in fabrication, so those were the only he had... and he can't buy those...

so at least, some of U (Pjotr G, don't get me wrong, it is not about U, I read a lot of reviews on different msg boards about this...), better shut the fuck up about this matter, okay?

One of the best producers of the world has been intentionally hurt by someone... the fans ask for clues and help... and suport

alright

first of all, lets not turn trance into a "2pac thing" where theres the 2pac and Biggy/Puffdaddy aka the whole Oakenfold v. BT.. It would be really lame, and I dont think that the big people in this industry are that low. Im sure despite their arguments their not breaking into each others houses. second of all, you all act like its the end of the world.. please flame off on mem but I make music.. and the post that said once you got a beat in your head its always there is true. Although the cd may be delayed, you can look at it this way, the songs he is going to recreate will be remastered, (almost like creating them a second time) and wiht that much effort into each song his new album will be his best yet

Disagree with u there... It wont be remastered... for his tracks to be remastered it would have to be released in say the year 2010 This is a Bad day for trance, if u dont think so, then u shouldnt be in the TA forums...

BT = Musical Geniuos

P.S. im sure the house was insured, but as someone said, if the he cant get the synth cos of manufacturing problems, money isnt gonna help much.

Thats shitty BT getting robbed what ****s could want to ruin 3 years work.

I've been reading over all of your posts and I think most of you have come up with the right theory as to who has done it. Like of course this is no crazed fan, and its obviously no crack addict nicking a couple 100 worth of stuff to afford their next fix. Bt could of fell out with a business associate or someone he's done business for like a club owner or somthing but still why didn't they trash the studio?

The most obvious culprit is someone whos in the industry someone with money, because its not hard to find someone a professional, in some dive somewhere who can be offered a couple of grand to steal the contents of a recording studio, theres lots of people around like that I could probably find you one within 2 hours theres loads around unfortunatly, and they can get the job done quickly and effectivly, But still something weird about it as you say its someone who's obviously envious BT, because they could of quite easily slipped a couple of 100 to some goon to wreck the place if it was someone who's a fierce rival with BT.

The equipment will be close by to the house cos who really wants to drive around LA in a van full of stolen goods? all it takes is a slight flat tire, or jumping a red light and a Pig is there, and I dunno about you guys but who would exactly want to explain to Cop why theres 1000s of pounds worth of recording equipment in the back of your van, so the equipment it is close by to the house, either way they are fucked up for doing it and its well out order.

Maybe, it was just a normal type of burgalry. If u are a bit of a low life, and u no a famous person lives somewhere, then u might just want there stuff! I mean, I would absolutely love to become a producer, but I am just a student, so I couldn't afford decent stuff... U know what I mean? ITs a crying shame, but the man should have kept some backups.

Okay, no matter if I know BT well or not so well ... yeah, ure right with the "idol" and I really would be as angry as the BT fans if my "idol" would get robbed ... I can understand the trouble. But I think it's nonsense to sit here, saying that the thieves should burn in hell and that's it! I just wanted to make ppl think about that the thieves don't sleep now and wait for the police to get them ... maybe while U are reading that now they throw the destroyed synths into a river to cover their tracks that they never will get caught! That's what I wanted to say...

That's what I say that the ppl who did that must have known he has no offsite backups of the tracks! I didn't mean they wanted his gear. They wanted to hurt him cuz otherwise they won't have taken the tracks and all gear with 'em ... like u say, if they wanted to damage his gear they would simply have done it there and that's it. But they did more ... that was an official humilitation-act against the artist BT!

i already bought it awhile back haha.. way ahead of you... it really sucks and the equipment can't always be replaced for example look at Norman Cook (a.k.a Fat Boy Slim) he still uses synths and samplers from like the 80s i heard. BT has been using these synths and all the other equip for ages so its hard for him to replace old equip. But damn this sucks ass i love bts work! i seen him live one time at EDC(Electric Daisy Carnival) back in 2000 he was off the hook he smashed a SYNTH into the ground after his set! or unless i was seening things too many amzing visuals and music going on. was the best LIVE show i ever seen! but i hope the crook gets a few of these

This is bad, very bad
does anyone know if he'll be starting the album again or if he had ANYTHING anywhere else, fuck it one track would do!!!!
The one thing we can hope for is he doesn't rush the next album and it ends up being shite, but I he and the people he works with are too clever to do anything like that (hopefully)
All we can do now tho show him our support, go 2 his gigs, and hope everything sorts itself out

PS bet it was the so solid crew, dirty garage bastards

Well you can just get vintage gear on the second hand market trust me...303's and minimoogs...you'll find them

So unless BT had like a modular system that someone built himself, it's replacable. Don't flame me for saying how it is.

However all the patches, sounds, samples and stuff that is saved in the memory of those synths is lost, that's a BIG-ASS loss too, if you had your setup for a while. Not money-wise, but time-wise.
