It’s absolutely disgusting for someone to accuse you of that. I sincerely hope you feel better now and you shouldn’t let this misfortune weigh your spirit down anymore. You are a wonderful person and I’m happy to have met you and partied with you. It’s unbelievable how people can jump to conclusions like that without knowing the bigger picture.

The same thing happened to a woman at my work last week too. She took a carry out order for an Indian man and served another customer. The other customers order was ready before the Indian guys because they called their order in before hand so she cashed them out. The Indian guy complained to her calling her a racist for serving other people before him. She tried explaining to him that the other customer called their order in and then came to pick it up, while he walked in and placed his order so it would appear like he was waiting longer. He still wouldn’t let the racist thing go and talked to our manager who’s Indian also. Are manager basically told the guy to get lost and stop harassing our employee and that his future business was unwanted.

Danielle, I can't believe that happened to you...it's always such a treat to see you on the dance floor and at all the parties...I don't know you personally too well but anyone connected to Dru who is MY MAN I have a tremendous amount of respect for.

You are even further sweet for just standing there, probably silent, while this asshole cut you up further. Maybe it's just because you're not that aggressive, but you actually did the right thing for letting your manager try to explain the situation (as you already tried to) and then for customer service (all the other customers who were probably staring) let that man make a fool of himself in front of others. It'll probably be pretty tough to convince others that you're racist when you are a minority yourself.

You're too sweet to share your massively multicultural background with us, and I'm glad that our ambassadors of good spirit, Sean and Mike, were there for you...I'd be there too (if I wasn't such a selfish prick caring only about my job for the past few weeks! )
