you don't record onto the records. The records store information used to control the PC with the mp3s. They stay the same all the time. You just assign different tracks to them with the laptop.
Replacements for those will be available in selected record stores for about 20$ afaik.

Tsk Tsk Tsk....I just got an email back from the italian distributor for Stanton. They expect it to come out around the end of march, price 1000 Euros...funny thing is that stanton USA sells it for ~$500.
What a bunch of thieves...looks like i'll be ordering it from the US. Anybody knows if it's available there already?

Yeah I already emailed the people at audioline to see if it was available but they never replied back.
I rather get the european version in case I need to send it back for repair...I wouldn't want them to void the warranty if I use a differet power supply.
hey carlosM the two vinyls that you get doesnt record on to the vinyl... it just relays the sound information from your computer/laptop to that vinyl... so you dont ever need to buy another set... (well hopefully you wont crack or melt those vinyls) all those vinyls do is stream the sound to your turntable from computer. well, i posted the original comment/question on this topic and i just wanted to add that the reason i posted this thread is b/c i saw the product available in a DJ equipent magazine a couple months back. and the price was pretty good ($399) for the two time coded vinyls and the software program. well, i think this would be a pretty good buy if you already have a pretty good computer with a lot of mp3s. but im still waiting for someone that acctually has tried it to post their comment before i would acctually consider spending money for this thing
