hmmmm

well i dunno if i'd bother to bring it up. sounds like kinda a dick thing to say...so i agree with you there, but who knows...i'd say maybe give it another shot after some time and see if you can drag craig back over there...if some shit happens again then i'd mention it, but if everything's usually cool...i wouldn't bring it up unless it keeps happening...

my boyfriend had only been to this guy's condo once before. and my friend gave me the impression that he liked him and thought he was cool. this past weekend, the pre-party was for another guy's birthday (my friend and i both know him) and the bday guy knew i'd be coming with my boyfriend. a lot of people were there (u saw the pics) and so it wasn't like the friend had to personally invite us. it was an invite from the bday guy who was using my friend's condo as a place for everyone to meet.

whatever, i'm just going to bring it up in a non bitchy way and act confused as to why he would snap at my boyfriend. if he's a dick, then he can piss off...if he feels bad and doesn't remember, then it'll be forgotten.

i just didn't know if i was overreacting or not...i get really protective with my loved ones, it's just in my nature. my loyalty is obviously with my boyfriend, not the friend.

he likes you more than a friend. when you broke up with your ex he wanted to get with you. Now your dragging your bf along when he really just invited you and he's pissed he's getting his nose rubbed in it. One other remote possibility is he likes you as a friend and considers your bf as an outsider who is tagging along. Either way its always a sticky situation when ppl take their bf/gf when they haven't been invited.

that's what i thought also

the guy's a jackass, so leave him be. you correcting him will only antagonize him more. but then again you don't seem like the type of person to let something like that go, so.... do what you gotta do

what does that mean?

i really don't think this friend likes me and is jealous. i mean i'm sure he wouldn't kick me out of bed, but i really think he's a closet homo...i think he doesn't like it that my boyfriend is so nice and "not from around here" and he's just acting like a snob/bully. that's why i'm pissed.

Then why dont you? You're well within your rights to at least bring it up in conversation, as the guy was clearly out of order to your boyfriend. He sounds to me like one of those guys who's OK to hang around if you agree with him all the time and never criticise him, but if you do he'll get shirty.

I personally dont really know anyone like that because I wouldn't want to, but if he does get in a huff with you for mentioning it, then sod him. Eventually he'll piss off everyone at some stage, after which he might realise he's not the God's Gift he thinks he is.

lol yes i was totally wondering...and now i'm crushed jason.

i only said that so i don't come off as that dumb chick like, "oh no we're just friends! he's like my brother, he would never put a move on me, bla bla bla" that could be the case, but i can usually tell when a guy really likes me. i don't think that's it at all.

he lives like 2 minutes from my boyfriend, so when i go there this weekend, i'll go to his condo to pick up my records. i get nervous keeping them there cuz every time i go there and we spin, my records are all over the place and i can't find them all...i just want to get them all in my possession again, and i'll bring it up then.

if your boyfriend was having a problem with him then he should have asked him about it. i understand that the guy is your friend and your boyfriend might not have understood the relationship between the friend and you. however, your boyfriend sounds like he has a problem with sticking up for himself.

How does one incident indicate that her boyfriend has a problem with sticking up for himself?
