ok...the only people that slam cds and computer software, HAVEN'T USED IT. it's that simple, i was the same way, always saying "cds are crappy" and blah blah...anyway, i got some cdj 800's never looked back at vinyl. what's the point? lawler's right...you can do soooo much more, and it makes it so much more fun. loop, re-loop, call, scratch, play backwards. can't do any of that with vinyl.

and i have to agree with jason, the prices are fucking ludicrous. 3 dollars for an mp3? my ass!

and whoever said "cds have potential"...welcome to 4 years ago lol

djs aren't rock stars
djs are glorified jukeboxes

who cares what the medium is, as long as sweet sweet sound is coming from the speakers and people are dancing

I disagree.

The human factor behind the music definaly plays into how much people like the set. When any big name DJ goes on, crowds go crazy over him/her being there. When they see him into the music, they'll get into the music more. When they hear and/or see him do something fancy/smooth with his/her mix, they'll get into it.

The problem is simply solved... by tailoring all your new MP3 into the same speed using an alternative program such as AtomiX before storing all the mp3 at the same speed in your iPod.

one of the other threads on this about a year or two ago said these were not made for EDM DJs. They are for the hole in the wall bar where anyone with their ipod can plug in and play whatever songs they have and they can mix back and forth.

and I hope I misunderstood the one dude, did he actually say its cheaper to press vinyl than to create a digital song? lawl if I was right.
