Actually, if your going to get into radiohead, check out Kid A also. its more of a concept album, a little less friendly, but none the less a very good album. |
That's my favorite Radiohead album.

As for Weezer, basicly stick with the blue album and pinkerton, the rest are filled with well... filler. |
Agreed.

Pearl Jam, well im one of the few people who actually owns Lost Dogs and Riot Act (their two recent albums, Lost dogs is a B side collection). They're really damn grungy on their first 3 albums, then move into more alternative progressive rock stuff. Riot Act is damn good, right up there with viatology and yield. |
Lost Dogs has some good stuff on it, but Riot Act is an overall disappointment in my opinion. Binaural is an underrated album, and they took a step back with Riot Act.

Check out some Led Zeppelin, if you already havent. Kind of the roots of all harder rock, and if you really wanna go back, check out Cream. Cream is really the basis for a few of the larger acts during the late 60s, early 70s. Page, Beck and Clapton were all in that band at one time or another, so think of it that way. |
The band you are referring to with Page, Beck, and Clapton is the Yardbirds. Cream is Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, and Jack Bruce.

Audio slave rocks hard, pick up both their albums. |
Audioslave is a huge disappointment in my opinion considering how good RATM and Soundgarden were.

The Foo rock hard too, definatly look into In your Honor, basicly their best album to date. |
If by "best" you mean "worst" then I agree with you.
