We ended up at the house of blues, it was weak. I was looking foward to lisening to Matt Darey. Instead I ended up lisening to some hip hop dj's.

What happened?

We went first to On Broadway to see Nic Fanciulli and after walked to 4th & B to see Matt.

When we got to 4th & B there was a sign on the door stating the event had been moved to Bacchus House.



Had the cab drop us off at home and zombied.

Any explanation?

Yea Rubber is on in SD and OC, I'm not sure how this is going to be though.

Makes you wonder if Rubber called the fire marshall to eliminate the competition for the weekend, That would really be shitty, but not unheard of before.

Not moved, 4th and B was remodeling and they didn't get the club finished in time, the Fire Marshall showed up and said that the club wasn't up to "code" for the event and said it couldn't happen at about 6 PM the day of.

Victor and Scott of Lost Episode then went looking for a new venue and when I spoke to someone who was close to them, they said they were moving to the Bacchus house. It ended up that the Bacchus house already had Lesbian night going on and couldn't accomidate them.

The Event was canceled, all parties involved were dissapointed including Matt as he was really excited about playing. Afterhours still went on at the Bacchus house but was very empty as it's hard to promote an afterhours event for an event that has been canceled.

I'm sure Victor will be getting on soon and apologizing to all those that were going to come out to support. I'm sorry you didn't initially believe me, I really was just posting that as the news was getting to me. Next time I will be more specific.

Victor did say to me Saturday morning that he's going to bring Matt back out for another event some time. I really dont' know the full Status of Lost Episode and 4th and B at this time, as this has caused some major problems for Lost Episode and is not the first thing 4th and B has done that was wrong.

I'll let Victor comment from here on out if he wants to.

I hope you'll all join Lost Episode on their upcoming events as I know they have big plans for SD and this will only be the beginning of good things to come from these guys.

i attended the after hours and sorry if you missed it! one of the best nights of dancing i've had in a long time. victor just came in and threw down and tore the place apart. not only did he play everyone's favorite tracks but he eloquently mixed in some very hard, deep crazy tracks that had everyone move off their butts and on to the dance floor. thank you san diego crew for being so much fun to party with every time i'm down. i will not attempt to comment on what happened friday night, not my place, but i will say this, scotty and victor did something that i think many other promoters wouldn't do, they went down to 4th and B and verbally explained what happened to the people instead of just posting a sign! very stand up and respectable! -sarah

Two friends of mine went to the Rubber event the next day and said the club still wasnt really ready either on saturday and that it seemed like they chinsed on everything. So overall bad on 4th & B, they should have to pay restitution to Victor and all the other people that planned on playing for not being ready for Lost Episodes...
