It's funny because you said it like it was one of the few to actually do it. For about the past ten years, software has been an essential part of many DJs mix-CDs.

I'm pretty sure a lot of what's running through the powerbooks is visualization shit. He had them set up here in Chicago as well but was running strictly off tables/digital format. I know he's been working with DVDJ though.

The only way you'd know for sure is to pay attention while he was mixing. If he spent most of his time on the computers fiddling about then probably Ableton. Along with hearing seamless transitions and spliced parts of other tracks if he was using it well. If you saw him taking out vinyl and cds and messing with decks or cdjs, then odds are he probably wasn't using Ableton. Pretty easy to tell actually

haha, i like the post regarding digweed using software to mix Fabric 20. OMFG Sasha n Digweed wre using Ableton before anyone with Renaissance 3xCD mix and Northern Exposure series.... TheY sUxoRZ.

G&D used it when I saw them this year in Detroit... Computer went down if I remember correctly. It was a terrible set... had not flow... seemed like they had no idea what they were doing. If your not going to fully utilize the software or use it to at least achieve a particular sound as in Sasha's case... then stick with what you know works... in my opinion anyway.
