I know 2 people with 12" Macs - iBook & Powerbook and those are nice machines

the screen resolution is only 1024x768 and depending on what you're using your laptop for, that may be a little crampled.

I use a Toshiba with 15" 1400x1050 screen and find it's an excellent level of resolution. It's better than the current standard widescreen Windows laptop 1280x800.

So anyone looking at Mac may want to look at the 15" PowerBook for the additional pixels 1440x960. Or in the Windows/Intel world look for a laptop such as Dell where you can order one with extra screen resolution.

I run the Echo Audio "Indigo DJ" cardslot card and it works fine and is normally extremely noise-free however with some audio amplifiers I need to disconnect the laptop ground pin. Question: do the Apple Mac power supplies have a ground pin (3 pin AC power plug)?

I dont know if they have a ground pin, but i do know they dont have noisy ground loops like dells do. I would stay away from dell for audio purposes
