Jay and Paul were there much earlier, but they said Creator was playing an awesome set. One of his last tunes was "Switch".

Scumfrog got on at 5, and I realized how DEAD my feet were from having been on my feet since 10pm, and not wearing ideal shoes w/support. Almost didn't think I was gonna be able to last the set... but soon enough the big tunes were starting to drop, and got me moving. Jesse only played 2.5 hrs- complete w/mic, drum pad, cymbal attachment, & some new Tenaglia-style mega-flashlights. Last 1/2 hour was AMAZING!!!!

Tunes:
Prada- The Aftermath (w/Simmer vocals over it)
New Order- Bizarre Love Triangle (ID? crazy electro remix)
cant remember which track he played w/the "Light My Fire" vocals over it

and last (& totally unexpected) song of the night(and I KNOW it was a surprise for me)....

Dirty Vegas- DAYS GO BY (SCUMFROG MIX)!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think Jay & I were about to CRY!!!! Danced like mad instead, with Jesse shining the spotlight on me

& several songs I'm waiting on ID's for from Jesse.

Thanks to Jesse for list & everything, and all the TA's that came out to support- Irish Graham, Magic B, musicsnob_not, madgenta, tully, Paul & all our other guests. We were the group up front w/the 2 yellow balloons w/messages written on them.
TORONTO IN DA HAUS!!!!

Stayed for 15-30 mins of MV's set, as we were wrecked. Killer "Mr. Roboto" opening from him tho- WOW!

Special mention to that crazy old woman who was buggin Graham the f*ck out the entire time there (I saw her last month at Black & Blue doing the same thing). He was running from her, and woulda boarded a plane back to Ireland if one was waiting outside the front door to the club. I really don't know how a brain can recover from that amount of damage... Stomping around crooked sideways, grunting like a deaf person (cuz thats all she could muster in that state) & pointing incomprehensibly at things, trying to hold non-conversations w/people this way, not making sense at all. Montrealers- what the hell is up w/that?? Give her credit for having cool hair, tho.

**Somehow Graham convinced Frankie Madgenta to drive back to Pointe Claire in his Miata with THE TOP DOWN!!! It was well below freezing!! Bet they got some looks.... These things only happen when Graham's around.... nutter!

Nat.. I am taking the easy way out here with my review cuz I am way too tired to think of lots to say.. and my brain is in complete shutdown from lack of sleep.. 3.5 hours all weekend is enough to kill anyone Monday morning for work

Anyhow.. this was my second time seeing The Scumfrog play.. and I much preferred this set over the first one.. Jesse you did an amazing job.. Prada - Aftermath I LOVE that track!!!
Also thank you for the GL and drink.. it was very much appreciated!

Creator.. we got there so late as we were supporting Frankie @ living, but when I walked in there.. let me tell ya.. the legs and feet started moving right away! Good job But I will be back to catch a full set.. Montreal seems to be a bi-monthly visit for me lately..hahah It was nice to meet you!

MV came on just as we were about to leave.. and I have a feeling it was gonna be a good set and I just wanted to keep on dancing.. but resting was probably the better idea for me that morning *thanks Nathalie*

Stereo wasn't completely what I thought it was going to be.. from everyone hyping it up so much I expected this spectacular club.. but it is cool.. nice set up and the dj is closer to the crowd which is a GOOD thing!

First visit to this club was a success.. waiting for the next one now....

All stereo is is a big box with a killer sound system, with some of the best house around an ludicris hours of operation. Nothing more, but then again, do you really need more?

Yes and it can be louder and nicer, sadly the second booth that was built for that event didn't get all the best of that sound system, and you can could clearly feel the difference when MV got on the main booth.

I was the other crazy one who made to trip to Montreal for Scumfrog with Nat and Jen.

Goodtimes. As I said after my last time seeing him - he is fastly becoming my favorite DJ. Scumfrog = guarenteed GOODTIMES

Days Go By - highlight of the night - Nat and I look at each other as both of us heard it coming in and went nuts.

Loved the start of MV - but left with everyone else - got my 4 hours of sleep until the drive home.

Love Montreal, but I need to learn a little moderation when there.
