well, i have good news and bad news.

good news is that now i know for sure why the recording ended prematurely at 11.04.05 up in stevens point. at 202:42 recording into WAV format, it reaches 2 gigs and then stops. it doesn't stop and then doesn't start a new file....just...stops. the device can't handle files over 2 gigs. it doesn't say this in any documentation. i can prevent this in the future by recording into 256 kb/s.

yeah, bad news is that only the first 20 mins of rob's excellent set was recorded. a shame....a low-down dirty shame. i was really looking forward to hearing the rest of it...

sorry rob, my recording promise hath failed once again. but at least we got the level problem with the mains figured out during my set.
